- The An Appeal to Heaven flag, originating in the 18th-century American Revolution, represents the colonists’ belief in seeking divine intervention for independence. The pine tree motif symbolizes strength and resilience.
- Our Historical flags are printed single-face reverse on high quality 200 denier nylon
- These flags are printed using our proprietary deep-penetrating acid dye inks for vibrant, long-lasting color
- Just like our U.S. flags, our historical flags are hemmed with the T60 heavy duty thread and finished with a 9 oz. bright white poly sateen heading and 2 brass grommets
- Flags can be flown outdoors and indoors
- Made in the U.S.A. Our flags are certified by the Flag Manufacturer’s Association of America which certifies our flags have been made in the U.S. of materials that are domestic in origin and that all processes in every step of its manufacture were completed in the U.S. facilities with U.S. labor

Returns & warranty
Return Policy
- Stock flags can be returned with prior written authorization, if unused and unopened, with return freight prepaid by the customer. A 15% restocking fee applies.
- Custom flags, banners, and made-to-order items are non-returnable and non-cancellable.
- Flagpoles can be returned within 30 days if uninstalled and in original packaging, also subject to the 15% restocking fee. You need to contact them at sales@flags-unlimited.com for authorization.
Warranty
- Nylon and Poly-Extra U.S. flags (purchased after 1/1/25) come with a one-year warranty, redeemable only in cases of extraordinary wear and tear in normal wind conditions. Flags flown in special or high-wind areas are not eligible for warranty replacement.

In short: standard stock items can be returned within 30 days (unused, with authorization, and a 15% restocking fee), custom/made-to-order items cannot be returned, and U.S. flags carry a one-year warranty under normal wind conditions.
