The Bedford Flag is one of the oldest known battle flags in the United States, associated with the American Revolutionary War. Carried by the Bedford Minutemen of Massachusetts, it is believed to have flown at the Battle of Concord in 1775. The flag features a red background with a silver arm holding a sword, emerging from clouds, and a Latin motto that translates to "Conquer or Die." It symbolizes early colonial resistance against British rule.

Returns & warranty
Return Policy
- Stock flags can be returned with prior written authorization, if unused and unopened, with return freight prepaid by the customer. A 15% restocking fee applies.
- Custom flags, banners, and made-to-order items are non-returnable and non-cancellable.
- Flagpoles can be returned within 30 days if uninstalled and in original packaging, also subject to the 15% restocking fee. You need to contact them at sales@flags-unlimited.com for authorization.
Warranty
- Nylon and Poly-Extra U.S. flags (purchased after 1/1/25) come with a one-year warranty, redeemable only in cases of extraordinary wear and tear in normal wind conditions. Flags flown in special or high-wind areas are not eligible for warranty replacement.

In short: standard stock items can be returned within 30 days (unused, with authorization, and a 15% restocking fee), custom/made-to-order items cannot be returned, and U.S. flags carry a one-year warranty under normal wind conditions.
